4 Eggs Separated 

1 ½ Sugar 

¼ Flour  

2 Cups Milk  

½ tsp Salt 

Pinch Cream of Tartar 

1 tsp Vanilla  

Vanilla Wafers 




  1. Separate the yolks from the whites.
  2. In saucepan, whisk 1 cup sugar, ¼ cup flour, ½ tsp salt, 2 cups milk, and 4 egg yolks. Cook 10 minutes until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Add 1 tsp vanilla.
  3. Spread pudding in casserole dish. Top with vanilla wafers, then bananas. 
  4. Beat the egg whites, cream of tartar, and ½ cup sugar until it forms stiff peaks. Pile on top of pudding. Bake at 425.
