1 1/2 cups of sugar
3 eggs
3 1/4 cups self rising flour
2 cups vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups of buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla flavor
1/2 teaspoon almond flavor
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 bottle red food color

Icing Ingredients:
1 2lb bag confectioners sugar
2 8 oz packages cream cheese
2 sticks of butter
2 teaspoons vanilla flavor
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

• Sift flour and baking soda together.
• Beat eggs, oil, sugar and vinegar together.
• Add four mixture and buttermilk slowly
• Add flavor and coloring
• Bake @ 325 for 25 minutes or until done (toothpick test) in 10 inch cake pans. (NOTE: This cake can be made in 3 10 inch cake pans or 2 13x9x2 inch pans.)
• Mix ingredients for icing, ice the cake, and enjoy!
