How’d y’all like this Carrot Cake? My Facebook fan Latorra won my baking contest with this incredible photo and recipe. Enjoy her full recipe below!
Directions:
Sift together
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking Soda
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Stir in 2 Cups of Sugar
Add:
1 Cup Vegetable oil
1 cup crushed/drained pineapples
4 beaten eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp almond extract
Mix together well.
Stir in 3 cups shredded carrots.
Pour mixture into 3 greased/floured pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool completely and frost with cream cheese frosting and pecans.
